Back in August, our little traveling circus took our act to Myrtle Beach to spend time with Nate's parent's timeshare. We managed to go early enough and miss the hurricane frenzy that swept through. Danielle was about 800 miles off the coast which was good for some rip currents, but didn't cloud out the sunshine! It made for a relaxing breeze as well! Payton absolutely loved the ocean! She couldn't get enough of it. Needless to say I got my entire summer's "tan" in one week - HA!
September proved to be busy as usual but was still filled with many blessings. Payton's vocabulary is increasing constantly and she is an eager to communicate. We finally switched her to a forward facing position in the car seat when...(drum roll please) she HIT 20 POUNDS! She is a much happier kid now that her legs aren't being squished and she can see more. Car rides have been much more pleasant. She continues to amaze me with her development, personality, and humor.
Ahhhh... October. One of my favorite months. You know the one reason I love October? Okay, I have a ton of reasons, but #1 is the NC State Fair... deep fried pecan pie here I come! We have already booked a full schedule this month with everything from Family Fun Day that Nate's work puts on, the fair, consignment sales, and a small amount halloween fun. Oh, and we finally got to meet the newest addition to the Hedgpeth clan, our nephew, Gryphon Michael, who was born August 30th. He's a cute little monkey and it was so nice to hold a baby again. Is it time for the traveling circus to increase its numbers? You'll just have to stay tuned if you want to find out more about that adventure!
Here are some pictures to enjoy!
Until next time... xo
